SESSION SCHEDULE & MEETING INFORMATION

Meeting Protocol & Procedures
To facilitate the orderly transaction of business, the following procedures have been established. All persons attending a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners are expected to comply with these rules.

  1. Cellular telephones, pagers, beepers, and other noise-making devices should either be turned off or placed on "silent mode" before the meeting begins.
  2. Citizens must always speak from the podium, using the microphone, to ensure all remarks are accurately and properly recorded as a part of the meeting's proceedings.
  3. Citizens should limit their comments so as not to exceed five minutes. In the event of extensive audience participation, the Board may further restrict speaking times so everyone has an opportunity to address the Board of County Commissioners during the meeting.
  4. Citizens should submit printed information or other documentary materials to the Clerk of the Board, who records the proceedings and keeps the official record of the Board's meetings.
