TASK FORCE SUBGROUPS

Each subgroup of the Environmental Task Force was set up to help develop and implement short-term actions in five different areas targeted for reducing ozone-related emissions in Johnson County. Below is a listing of the subgroups, its members, and a brief summary.

Public Education and Outreach

The Public Education and Outreach subgroup identifies ozone reducing activities occurring in Johnson County. The focus of the group is to provide ozone reduction awareness through education and activities.

The Personal Car Use subgroup focuses on the reduction of traffic congestion and vehicle miles traveled by the promotion of commuting, biking, or walking as alternate forms of transportation.
